Wellington Construction Co. Ltd. is a proud family business that was formed in 1972
by a partnership between Alphonse Arsenault and Edgar Gallant. The company, which continues to enjoy an enviable reputation throughout the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada, was incorporated in 1974.

In 1986, Alphonse Arsenault’s sons, David Arsenault and Roger Arsenault, bought out Edgar Gallant’s shares and became business partners with their father.
In 2003, Roger and David bought out Alphonse’s shares and are now the business owners.

In 2004, Alphonse Arsenault received the provincial Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of P.E.I.
for the tremendous contribution both he and the company have made to the Island economy and community.

The company is primarily involved with commercial work. It designs and builds various construction projects but also takes on residential and commercial concrete contracts. As well, the company constructs new homes and carries out small and large renovations.
